Go, Deanna Caswell! Breaking into the Educational Market [Client News]

It’s always so fun to share good news about our clients!

Deanna Caswell has had several trade picture books published–you can see her titles here–but she was also interested in breaking into the educational market. She consulted with Mentors for Rent about the best way to do that.

Deanna’s energy level and curiosity about the world are through the roof, and we had a great time consulting with her about her introductory packet to send around. We weren’t surprised when she got an assignment for four books with Black Rabbit. And now she just contacted us to say that she has a contract for six more!

Breaking into the educational market takes professionalism and determination. And getting repeat contracts from a publisher requires being easy to work with and doing an awesome job on the books they assign you. We’re so excited for Deanna’s continued success–and we’ll give a shout-out about her ed market books once they’re published.

Meanwhile, CONGRATULATIONS, Deanna! We’re happy for you (and happy to have been a small part of your journey)!

You can learn more about Deanna on her Amazon Author Page.
